Subscription & Payment Terms — FizzUp

1. Scope of the document

This document describes the rules for:

  • paid plans and (if available) trial periods,
  • subscription renewals,
  • payment methods (Stripe / App Store / Google Play — depending on the channel),
  • cancellations and plan changes,
  • taxes and invoices (if applicable),
  • the relationship to refunds and withdrawal from the contract.

2. Plans and features

The current plans, limits and prices are presented in the app and/or on the pricing page before purchase.

The Operator may offer, among other things:

  • a free plan (with limits),
  • a monthly / annual plan,
  • team/company (B2B) plans — if launched.

3. Trial period — if available

If we launch a trial period:

  • its length and rules will be clearly indicated before it starts,
  • in the case of a trial with automatic conversion, we will inform you about it before the trial starts,
  • the user may cancel before the end of the trial in accordance with the instructions for the payment channel.

4. Subscription renewal

  1. Subscriptions may renew automatically for the next period unless cancelled.
  2. The price and billing period are presented before purchase.
  3. In the event of a failed payment, we may retry the charge or restrict access to paid features.

5. Payment channels

5.1 Payments via Stripe (web)

If the payment is made via Stripe:

  • the payment is processed by Stripe,
  • we do not store full card details,
  • subscription management may take place via the customer portal (Stripe Customer Portal) or in the app.

5.2 Purchases in the App Store (iOS)

If the subscription is purchased in the App Store:

  • payment and subscription management take place in accordance with Apple's rules,
  • cancellations and refunds may be handled by Apple.

5.3 Purchases in Google Play (Android)

If the subscription is purchased in Google Play:

  • payment and subscription management take place in accordance with Google's rules,
  • cancellations and refunds may be handled by Google.

6. Taxes and invoices

  1. Prices may include or exclude taxes (VAT) — depending on how they are presented; the final price is shown before purchase.
  2. If we issue invoices, invoice details may be required and the user is responsible for their correctness.

7. Cancellation

  1. Cancelling a subscription stops subsequent renewals.
  2. Access to paid features may continue until the end of the paid period (unless the platform's terms provide otherwise).
  3. Removing the app from the device does not mean cancelling the subscription.
  4. Deleting your account does not always cancel a subscription purchased in the App Store / Google Play — store subscriptions must be cancelled in the settings of your Apple/Google account.

8. Refunds and withdrawal from the contract

The details are described in the "Refunds & Withdrawal" document, including the distinction between:

  • cancellation,
  • statutory withdrawal,
  • refund.

9. Changes to prices and plans

  1. The Operator may update the plan offering and prices.
  2. Changes for existing subscriptions will be communicated with appropriate advance notice, in accordance with the law and the rules of the payment providers.
