Refunds & Withdrawal — FizzUp

1. Scope

This document concerns the rules for:

  • withdrawal from the contract by consumers (where applicable),
  • refunds,
  • complaints regarding payments and the operation of the Service,
  • distinguishing between payment channels (Stripe vs App Store vs Google Play).

2. Important distinctions

  • Subscription cancellation: stops future renewals.
  • Withdrawal from the contract: a consumer's statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within a period (usually 14 days), where applicable.
  • Refund: a return of payment as a result of withdrawal, a complaint, a payment error or goodwill.
  • Account deletion: deletes/anonymizes account data, but need not cancel a store subscription.

3. Consumer withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer and have concluded a distance contract, you may in principle have the right to withdraw within 14 days.

Because the Service is a digital service/subscription, exceptions and special rules may apply (e.g. the commencement of performance with your express consent before the deadline expires).

Before paid digital performance starts during the withdrawal period, checkout

collects any declaration required by applicable consumer law. The exact effect

of withdrawal depends on whether performance began and on the payment channel;

we do not limit rights granted by mandatory law.

4. Payment channels and refunds

4.1 Stripe (web)

For payments via Stripe, refund/withdrawal requests are handled by the Operator:

  • submit to: support@fizzup.ai,
  • provide: your account e-mail, the date of purchase, the plan, the order identifier (if available), and a description of the reason.

4.2 App Store (iOS)

If the purchase was made through the App Store:

  • refunds may be handled by Apple in accordance with their rules,
  • the Operator may not have the technical ability to issue a refund directly.

4.3 Google Play (Android)

If the purchase was made through Google Play:

  • refunds may be handled by Google in accordance with their rules,
  • the Operator may not have the technical ability to issue a refund directly.

5. Technical complaints and payment errors

In the event of:

  • a double charge,
  • an incorrect charge,
  • lack of access to paid features despite an active subscription,
  • a serious service outage,

contact us at: billing@fizzup.ai.

We may propose solutions such as: a correction, an extension of the period, a proportional refund, or a service credit — in accordance with the law.

6. Withdrawal form (template)

We provide a withdrawal form template: `/legal/model-withdrawal-form` (to be published).

7. Contact

Refunds / complaints: support@fizzup.ai
